Equity markets kicked off the week with a strong rebound, reclaiming Friday’s losses as Nifty surged past the 24,900 mark. A broad-based rally fueled by financials, IT, and heavyweights like Reliance Industries helped drive gains. Midcaps were in spotlight, recovering sharply from intraday lows and adding over 1,000 points, reflecting renewed confidence in the broader market.
🔹 Nifty 50 start the week at 24,946.50, up +227.90 pts (+0.9%)
🔹 Sensex gained +678 pts to finish at 81,796
🔹 Bank Nifty rose +418 pts to 55,945
🔹 Midcap Index jumped +541 pts to 58,769
🔹 Nifty 500 also ended higher at 23,095.05, up +188.85 pts (+0.8%)
📈 Sectoral Highlights
The IT sector took the lead, rallying 1.6% on easing global rate fears and strong deal flows. India Tourism and CPSE indices followed closely, gaining 1.4% and 1.3%, respectively—indicating rising domestic travel demand and PSU optimism.

• Nifty IT (+1.6%) led by Tech Mahindra
• Nifty India Tourism (+1.4%) on improving footfalls
• Nifty CPSE (+1.3%) with strong moves in BEL
❌ Laggards:
