IT powers ahead, but Banks chill

Nifty inches toward 25K as IT stocks lead the party. Bank stocks? Not so much.

The bulls kept things interesting for the third straight session as Nifty added ~98 pts to settle at 24,968. IT stocks were buzzing across the board, lifting the mood, while Bank Nifty looked unusually quiet.

🔹 Rotation Watch:

IT & Digital – Back in Vogue
• Infosys (+3%), TCS (+2.8%) and HCL Tech (+2.6%) pulled Nifty IT up 2.4%.
• Nifty India Digital up 1.2%. Retail eyes are shifting back to tech.

Banks – Cooling Off
• Bank Nifty flat at 55,139.
• Profit booking, or just weekend vibes?

Media Surprise
• Nifty Media jumped 1.7% – midcaps in action, again.

Defensives Underperform
• Healthcare and Capital Goods saw some profit-taking. Pfizer, Emami, and Sundaram Finance cracked.
